Carmen Fulton, M.D.

Carmen Fulton, M.D. Board Certified Psychiatrist and Faith Based Initiatives Division Leader, is a graduate of the University of Maryland-Sheppard Pratt Psychiatry Training Program. Fulton served as Chief Resident for incoming first year residents. She offers an up-to-date knowledge base of current evidence-based treatment in both medication management and a broad range of psychotherapies. Dr. Fulton uses an integrated wellness approach in treating adolescent and adult patients, particularly with a focus on mood and substance abuse disorders. Fulton obtained a Masters in Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University, with a special interest in decreasing the stigma of mental health concerns in underserved and minority populations.
